This series explores eight core topics for middle to senior level public sector leaders, who are seeking to enhance and develop their management and leadership skills and for those who are aspiring the pathway to the South Australian Executive Service (SAES). The series of modules align across all three tiers in SA Government that can be completed as an extended program or as individual units.
These topics are focused on providing public sector leaders with practical tools to apply in their workplace to enhance performance and productivity. As a consequence each session is ‘built’ around a framework that is derived from tried and proven research. Participants explore the model and its various components and then have the opportunity to practice and apply the associated tools and techniques in their workplace.
The programs presented are aligned to public sector competencies and reflect the changing nature of government. Their importance is also reinforced by the need for skilled managers and leaders who are better able to cope with the pressures of greater accountability and transparency whilst providing higher levels of customer service.
On completion of this series you will receive a certificate of participation, signed by IPAA SA President and Commissioner for Public Sector Employment, Erma Ranieri, for your CV.
