Divisional Council Nominations 2018 Open

Dear Members,

The Institute of Public Administration, SA Division Inc. (IPAA SA) is pleased to invite nominations for the 2018 Divisional Council Election. During the 2018 Council Election period there are three vacant positions due to Councillor terms expiring. If you are interested in getting more involved with us, make sure you nominate! IPAA SA continuously strives to improve strategic direction and governance of the organisation, and we encourage nominations from a range of professional skills and experience, to maintain a consistent competency-based Divisional Council. Therefore, we are looking for the following skills-mix to be shared among Council members:

- Strategic planning;

- People management;

- Governance;
- Finance, and;
- Legal.

IPAA SA seeks to represent all public sector employees, and therefore welcomes nominations from all tiers of government, including commonwealth, state and local. The IPAA SA Divisional Council also welcomes nominations from regional centres as well as greater Adelaide.

IPAA SA values diversity among its members, and welcomes nominations from people of different gender, age, sexuality, physical and intellectual ability, and cultural backgrounds

Important Information:

The closing date for nominations is 5:00PM, Monday 22 October 2018. A confirmation of your nomination will be emailed to you by 5:00pm, Monday, 22 October 2018.

If you have not received a confirmation email from us by the nominations closing time and date, please contact us before to confirm that your nomination has been successfully received. Should there be more nominations than available positions; a ballot will be sent and will be counted at the Annual General Meeting on the 21 November, 2018 as per the rules of the Association.
