At IPAA SA, the health and wellbeing of our delegates, facilitators and team members remains our top priority. We are continuing to actively monitor the situation regarding COVID-19 and are following the latest advice and guidelines issued by SA Health, the Australian Department of Health and the World Health Organisation.

With the majority of our delegates and facilitators working within the SA public sector and performing vital roles within our state we will continue to deliver timely and relevant training, resources and support to all our members in a safe and carefully considered manner.

Following the State Government release of the new Testing, Tracing, Isolation and Quarantining (TTIQ) model, the IPAA SA Divisional Council has determined that IPAA SA will become a double COVID-19 vaccinated facility. This decision, which comes into effect from Tuesday 7 December, applies to anyone aged 12 and over attending any face-to-face IPAA SA activity which includes; in-person events, training sessions and on-site meetings. This does not include IPAA SA’s online professional development programs or events.

Proof of double vaccination will be required of all delegates, facilitators, speakers and visitors of IPAA SA activities or facilities. A double vaccination policy for all IPAA SA staff has already been introduced. You can read the IPAA SA COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements Policy here

People who are double vaccinated will be required to display their COVID 19 Digital Certificate via their smart phone prior to entry to IPAA SA activities. Where this is not possible, a printed immunisation history statement will be accepted or valid proof of a medical exemption.

If you are currently registered to attend a face-to-face IPAA SA training session you will be contacted by the IPAA SA team with further information. If you have any questions regarding IPAA SA’s vaccination policy please contact our friendly staff on 08 8212 7555 or registrations@sa.ipaa.org.au.
