Mark Goldstone

Mark Goldstone grew up in Adelaide’s northern suburbs and is a proud South Australian.
Following a career in the Royal Australian Air Force, Mark joined local government. Mark has over 30 years’ experience in local government here in South Australia and interstate and was appointed CEO of the City of Adelaide in 2015. Mark is a respected government administrator and leader with a proven track record in efficient service outcomes, and delivery of large scale, high quality community focussed projects.
Mark has been a member of numerous Local Government bodies and boards, as well as external Boards and Commissions.
Boosting economic growth, expanding smart city-based initiatives and rebuilding relationships with the Adelaide business and property development community have been among the main priorities for Mark since joining the City of Adelaide.
Since Mark’s arrival at CoA, Adelaide has been recognised on the world stage, not only as an intelligent city that will attract more business investment, but also by creating one of the “world’s most liveable” destinations, attracting more residents and increased numbers of visitors year on year.
