IPAA SA’s On the Couch sessions are a series of informal interviews with key public sector leaders to examine the person behind the role. This event is an unmissable chance to hear personal insights from our public sector leaders on what makes them tick and have the opportunity to ask them first-hand about issues that matter to you.
Our Next Guest
Our next guest taking to the couch is newly appointed Emma Terry, Chief Executive of the South Australian Tourism Commission. In her previous role as Chief Marketing Officer at Tourism Tasmania, Emma led the agency’s demand generation program. She was the driving force behind strategic destination marketing platforms, which challenged traditional tourism marketing norms and positioned Tasmania advantageously against larger States.
Ms Terry will aim to drive the industry back towards its pre-pandemic annual record value of $8.1bn and then “steer us towards our 2030 target of $12.8bn”.
All IPAA events include purposeful networking, which allows you to:
• Build relationships with the speaker/s and fellow guests
• Develop your capabilities
• Establish connections across the SA public sector.
