Did you know that the most connected people are often the most successful? Professional networking helps you to stay on top of the latest trends in your industry, build relationships, raise your profile, identify career opportunities and so much more. But what if you don’t know where to start or what to say? Or perhaps you simply want to grow your skills to make the most out of networking events? This session was designed for you to gain networking skills in a supportive environment with people at a similar skill level and facing the same issues.

IPAA is here to support our members throughout their careers and provide them with essential skills. This exclusive Personal Members only event was created by members for members. It was a unique opportunity to meet and engage with new contacts in our Graduate & Student, Emerging Managers and Young IPAA membership base whilst also learning and practising some key networking skills in a safe environment.

An expert facilitator guided our members through tips on how to network effectively, including handling nerves and provide you with the opportunity to practise some networking skills such as a good self-introduction. They were able to meet others, spend time talking one-on-one, learn about one another, and walk away with new connections.

This was an opportunity to develop skills to confidently build your network and make connections so that you can make the most out of the IPAA events you attend throughout your career.

This event was exclusive to IPAA SA Personal Members and is designed for our Graduate & Student, Young IPAA (YIPAA) and Emerging Leader membership categories. However, any Personal Member who wanted to develop their networking skills was welcome.

Not yet an IPAA SA Member? You can become a member for as little as $99 a year, and make a lasting impact on your career.
