Course Outline
Explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping learning, training and decision-making, and what responsible use looks like in a public sector context.
This full-day workshop is designed for public sector professionals and is facilitated by Professor Edward Palmer and Dr Daniel Lee from the University of Adelaide’s Unit of Digital Education and Training. Together, they bring deep expertise in artificial intelligence, digital learning and curriculum design, with a strong focus on real-world application.
Drawing on current research into Generative AI, digital technologies and emerging learning models, the workshop explores how AI is influencing assessment, training and capability development, and what this means for public sector organisations navigating change responsibly.
With a strong emphasis on practical examples and discussion, participants will consider ethical implications, risk, governance and opportunities for thoughtful adoption, while keeping public trust and accountability front of mind.
Whether you work in policy, learning and development, workforce capability, ICT or governance, this workshop will help you approach AI with greater clarity, confidence and purpose.
