Hear a panel of senior leaders share their experiences in shaping positive mental health outcomes in their organisations.
Dr Gordon de Brouwer PSM, IPAA National President, will host and introduce the event and our panellists:
- Lucinda Brogden AM, Chair of the National Mental Health Commission and Chair of the Mentally Healthy Workplace Alliance
- Steven Worrall, Managing Director at Microsoft Australia & New Zealand and Chair of the Corporate Mental Health Alliance Australia
- Cheryl-anne Moy, Deputy Secretary Corporate and Enabling/Chief Operating Officer at the Department of Home Affairs
- Alistair Carmichael, Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company
The panellists consider the impact COVID-19 has had on mental health in the workplace, and how it has exacerbated pre-existing workplace mental health issues. They discuss the nature of challenges presented by the pandemic, and why this creates an imperative for leaders to take considered action to sustainably improve workplace mental health. Finally, they throw some light on to what senior leaders have learnt from their efforts to address these problems, and what they can do to improve the health of their teams in the future.
This is an IPAA National event.
